The challenge
The goal was straightforward to state and hard to do well: execute trades automatically based on pre-defined rules, scenarios, and strategies, informed by live market data and advisor recommendations — with no one watching a screen.
What we built
RD Broker is a desktop application with a deterministic rules engine at its core. Strategies are defined up front; the platform evaluates market data against them and executes when conditions are met.
AI tooling accelerated the build, but there is no AI in the production version by design. The system does exactly what its rules say, every time, which is what you want from something handling real money.

The outcome
What began as a proof of concept became one of our favorite projects. After proving highly successful on paper accounts, RD Broker was moved to its own brokerage account and now executes with real capital — a true set-and-forget, non-AI trading tool.
